We’re delighted to welcome Gemma back to the team. After completing her apprenticeship with us and playing a key role in our engineering department, Gemma took some time to broaden her experience in a different industry – and we’re thrilled to have her return.
Gemma has now stepped into the position of Special Projects Manager, and she’s already excelling in it.
How does it feel to be back?
“It’s great to be back. It feels like nothing has changed, yet so much has at the same time – there are lots of familiar faces, but plenty of new ones too.
I’ve been welcomed back with open arms, and I can’t wait to really get stuck in.”
What will your role entail?
“Drawing on my many years of experience as a Production Engineer, I’ll be managing our more unique customer requirements from onboarding through to delivery.
My role is essentially to ensure a smooth journey for our customers, working closely with colleagues throughout every stage.”
What are you most excited about?
“I’m especially excited to get back into fabrication – I enjoy the variety of working with different products every day.
This role is also a step up from my previous position, so I know it will be a challenge, but one I’m ready to embrace with the support of the great team around me.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“I recently got my very own dog, Murphy, a Golden Retriever.
I’ve been loving taking him out for walks and embracing life as a full-time dog mum. I’ve even taken him paddleboarding!”
