As a result of Alpha manufacturing’s existing relationship as a customer of Trumpf, they approached Bri-Stor Systems to begin converting their service fleet. These two vans are the first to be completed and will make life much easier for Trumpf service engineers.
Alpha and German based machinery manufacturers Trumpf have been developing their partnership over the last 18 months as Alpha invested heavily in some of their most advanced machinery. This same machinery will have been used at various stages of the manufacturing the racking fitted into these two Vans.
During November 2016 Alpha purchased the STOPA automated storage system from Trumpf along with a TruLaser 3030 fibre laser machine to replace an outgoing Laser from another supplier.
Shortly after this Alpha announced a further investment in two new machines and the installation of these were completed in June this year. A new TruPunch 5000 S12 machine was installed alongside a cutting edge TruBend Cell 7000 robotic folding machine.
This new partnership further develops’ not only Alpha Manufacturing’s relationship with Trumpf but also the Bri-Stor Group as a whole.
