Alpha Manufacturing has a range of forming facilities, each of them designed to suit differing product types.

 

The Amada Astro 100NT is an automatic robotic bending system integrated with a 110-ton hydraulic press brake. It is designed for high-precision part productivity through reduced cycle times. The Astro 100NT is a totally unmanned robotic bending system, which increases productivity and profitability without increasing labour. The robot utilises the entire length of ram allowing flexible multiple stage bending.

 

Programs for folding components are produced off line dramatically reducing set up times and allowing cost effective small batch runs.

The Amada TBZ Panel Folding machines has the capacity to fold from sheets up to 2500 x 1250mm x 2.3mm thick with the ability to load, form and stack products.

 

The machine cycle times are optimised with simultaneous component load and unload together with automatic tool selection. Parts are programmed off line allowing the machine to run components whilst the next is programmed ready for production.

Alpha utilise 6 conventional Amada folding machines, these machines are utilised for folding products that are unsuitable for the automated folding stations.
