Design and Prototyping at Alpha Manufacturing
Key to Alpha Manufacturing’s success is our commitment to new product development. Dedicated staff work closely with our customers to ensure that new developments utilise the very best in machine and tooling technology. Designs are optimised for efficient manufacture on our industry leading machines.
Products are developed in a 3D environment on CAD software. Computer models can be produced to ensure that assemblies are consistently successful at prototype stage. These 3D models are available for our customers to confirm that the product matches their expectations.
We employ New Product Introduction (NPI) staff that ensure that the parts match our customers expectations in terms of specification, quality and delivery.
Where customers have established designs, we can take the 3D models in a variety of formats and utilise this information to produce the components reducing the machine programming time dramatically.
Jigs and fixtures that are required for assemblies can be designed and developed in house diretly from the 3D models which makes certain that the parts will be right first time.
